Sounds like a parameter needed for QLEIT is not being passed. I'd think you need to check for PTFs addressing the issue. That object doesn't exist on my 400, so I have no idea what [system/licpgm] it is a part of...

QLEIT is a module of program QLEDAGE. Oddly, in V5R1, most of the PTFs are TCP-related, but in V5R2, they're journal-related. Maybe due to how remote journalling works? In V5R1, the QLEIT error is specifically mentioned in PTF SI03988. The most recent superseding V5R1 PTF looks like SI10019.

I am working on a problem consisting of a batch job doing an FTP of 400 files to a Sun machine. Once in a while at the CL FTP command, the error message "Pointer not set for location referenced" will occur from pgm QLEIT. Any advice would be very helpful.
