Two things... 1. If you are using a Base 36 field (or Base 30) as part of a key in a DDS file and you are using the IBM default SRTSEQ (*HEX) then the file sequencing will NOT be correct! You must use an alternate sort sequence or change the SRTSEQ system value. 2. In the language specific SRTSEQ tables, does anyone know if the numbers ALWAYS come before the letters? If so, do you know where I can find the IBM documentation to that effect? Any help would be appreciated. Jeff
