Will what generate a level check? My notes say changing the select/omit will not change the level ID. But this is an SQL forum so what would it matter? Chris

Chris, This is the "database" forum, not just SQL, so it does matter. chuck Opinions expressed are not necessarily those of my employer. My eyes must be failing me! I see your message posted under "Forums > Programming > SQL". When I click on "Forums > Database", your message doesn't appear there. Chris

If I change a logical file to exclude records (where before it didn't exclude records) and run a CHGPF against the DDS to change the logical, will it generate a level check? TIA, chuck Opinions expressed are not necessarily those of my employer.
...or rename the record format, or rename a field or change the order of the fields or change the number of decimal positions in a field. Chris
