Performance issue in embeded SQL RPG

My client has recently upgraded to OS/400 V5R3.The embeded SQL rpg programs are runing very slow on v5.3 when compare to previous version.Can any one throw some light on this problem.

You didn't give any details so here are some general things to think about. 1. 5.3 O/S is larger than previous, have you enough disk space? 2. 5.3 converts MSGF and can be very slow about it, do your programs have MSGF? 3. Are any other object conversions occurring still? 4. Has a class been changed so a job runs at a different priority now? We recently upgraded from 5.1 to 5.3 on two 820s and did not see any performance loss. Possibly even garnered some gains there. Perhaps if you gave more detail...
