Unfortunately, some of us (like me) can't use news readers from work because our Internet connections is handled by our parent corporation and they block those ports. I'll check it at home though. Thanks! ==Scott==

Hello All, We have completed our initial testing on the news.rjssoftware.com site and it appears the news server is working just fine. I have received a few email messages from people who haven't used news reader software before. There currently is not a web-browser interface to the news groups outside of using a news reader such as Netscape or Outlook Express, etc. If you have never used a news reader before because you've been using the web interface with Midrange Computing, we will be opening a web page at http://news.rjssoftware.com so that you can download instructions for using the news groups via a news reader. If there is enough interest in the site we may create a web-based front end, but for right now you will need a news reader such as Outlook Express.
