Thread: CODE difference in operation between RPG member on LOCAL vs REMOTE system

Default CODE difference in operation between RPG member on LOCAL vs REMOTE system

Is there a difference in the way CODE/400 processes members of the same source type but but happen to be on different locations (i.e., vs )? I created a member to test with the signatur.lx macro and I am trying to get the editor to revert back before the macro was run. The editor does not insert the new source line like I had assumed. It used to be that pressing Enter on a source line (like H ALWNULL(USRCTL) ) the editor would add a new H-spec (5 chars before H). Now it adds the H-spec but puts it in position 1. If i turn on SIGNATUR.LX again the control specification letter does not show when pressing the Enter key. -- Thanks, Matt Tyler mattt@wincofoods.com

Hi Matt, It turns out there is a bug in SIGNATUR.LX which causes it to misbehave as you describe. I am opening an APAR to track the problem, and I should be sending you a patch for you to use before the end of the day. Thanks, Violaine Batthish CODE Project Lead Toronto Lab, IBM Canada
