Connect to AS/400 data source without client access on pc, win2k service?

I am trying to write a subroutine using vba for excel 2000 to connect to an as/400 datasource without having client access installed on the local pc. Is there a way to run client access V4R4 on a windows 2000 server and use the service to connect to the as/400? Thank you, Robert Maxwell Tri-City Electrical Contractors, Inc. Altamonte Springs, FL

You can create an Active Server Page that runs on the w2k server and connects to the AS400 data source and then use Excel's Web Query function to connect to the Active Server Page. I have a tech tip on this exact topic that should be in MC Mag online within the next few weeks.
