Default How do I get the PGM name of the PGM that calls the trigger?

The downloadable code is for a column called "TechTalk." Midrange Computing runs this column every month, and has for years. It presents short tips and techniques. You will only need the figures for RtvTrgCaller. You can ignore the rest of the code, because it was for other tips and techniques. The prototype is in Figure 3. Figure 1 is the source code for the procedure itself. Figure 4 is the example showing how to use it. If possible, it would be good to read the text that was published with the tip.

Default How do I get the PGM name of the PGM that calls the trigger?

Looking at the code from the March 99 MC magazine I'm a little confused. Do I need to create all of the CL programs, Commands, and RPGLE programs listed or do I just need to code Figure 1 and include figure 2 and figure 3 in the trigger program itself? Also, where does Prototypes come from? I know it's a /copy, is it supposed to be on the system already? Erik Osberg
