IPL Attributes

Will be doing an IPL later this evening. Was curious to see what others have their IPL Attributes set at, use DSPIPLA to check. Ours are as follows: Restart type.......................*SYS Keylock position...................*MANUAL Hardware diagnostics...............*MIN Compress job tables................*NONE Check job tables...................*ABNORMAL Rebuild Product Directory..........*NONE Mail Server Framework recovery.....*NONE Clear job queues...................*NO Clear output queues................*NO Clear incomplete joblogs...........*NO Start print writers................*YES Start system to restricted state...*NO Any ideas as to whether we are accomplishing really anything during an IPL would be helpful. What are you hoping to accomplish? If you've no specific reason to IPL then I suggest you don't bother. Dave...
