could the problem be the user's adobe version? I just tried this on my 720(v5r2) with adobe 6.0 reader. worked fine for me. btw, are these users "local"/"on the lan in your building" or are they connected remote? just a thought.

We have some users who are accessing reports/data on the IFS. We have a share created called downloads. They are using their web browser and running \systemnamedownloads. They then are seeing the report they are looking for. However when they click on the report they get \systemnamedownloads
eport.pdf path not found. Sometimes it works for them and other times it doesn't. If they get this error then they will try it 2-3 times and finally it will work. Anybody have any ideas on what could be causing this. It is starting to frustrate the users and if we can't get the IFS working better I afraid management will then have us copy the information from the 830 to a Windows server and have the user get the information their.
