I am using the STRRMTWTR command and the spool file goes to a SND status but hangs there a long time. If I end the writer and restart it then it seems to send immediately but ends up sending the spool file twice. One is printable and one is not at the remote location, the one just prints blank pages. We seem to have an intermittent problem after using the strrmtwtr command that if we ping the other AS400 site we can't get a connection but if you wait a while and try to ping again you get a good connection and then restart the writer it sends the spool file but twice. We are using this to send A/P and P/R checks so this is real important right now. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks, Melinda Kitchen
