How to generate PRN file on AS/400

I want to know, if there is any way to generate PRN file on AS/400 from a spooled file, using Host Print Transform. I am thinking of storing rendered print jobs(PRN files) on IFS and print them later on a PCL printer.

I'd suggest you adopt a much more straightforward, and universally acceptable method of storing printout for archive and reprinting - make them PDFs. There are a host of tools available that will do this for you including Infoprint Server from IBM.
