HELP!! odbc from solaris to DB2 on AS/400

My company now let me use IBM's DB2 Connect to connect from our Solaris boxes to the AS400, but I have no experience with AS/400. Today I have read some docs,still have serval questions: 1.there are so many CD,which one I should load to solaris system (administrative client or ..)? 2.because the as/400 is loaded by some one else who had already left company, How can i know the para that asked when system config: such as : /etc/services file: dbserver1 50000/tcp # DB2 connection service port The port number used on the client must match the port number used on the server what's the meaning? 3. when catalog a tcp/ip node:: db2 => catalog tcpip node dbserver1node remote db2unixhost server db2server1 How can i know the servicename ?
