Experiencing intermittent problems with an async dial-up connection where I receive a NO CARRIER error, indicating there is no dial-tone. Restarting the job after the termination will run successfully. The DTE option, DTR state is set to reset. Other DTR state options include, disconnect, ingore, recall and command. I am looking for a description (which is not defined in the modem manual) of the item options to determine which setting I should be using. The modem is a Motorola UDS V.3400 Other suggestions are also welcome! Thanks, Ed
