    Default user profiles

    The maximum length of a *USRPRF name is 10 bytes, but the userid actually used by an end user can, in some cases, be larger. The TCP/IP Application Server Logon Exit Point for instance allows much longer userids (as seen/entered by the remote user) to be mapped (under program control) to a 10 byte *USRPRF name.
