    Default Subsystem

    Someone was ending an important subsystem. Is there a possibility to see which user it was. In DSPLOG I see only that the SBS was ending. Thanks for any help.

    I believe that you could use a DSPLOG for the approximate date and time to find who is ending it.

    I did an experiment ending an unused Subsystem (at the time). I looked thru the logs and message queues. Nothing pointed to a specific person, simply the Subsystem was ending. I looked at the authority for the command and found PUBLIC had *USE. I changed it to *EXCLUDE. Suggest you do the same. This will leave authority to those with *ALLOBJ.

    Default Subsystem

    The special authority *JOBCTL is required for you to start/end subsystems, not just the authority to run the ENDSBS command. Paul.
