    Default STRMOD Command

    Does anyone have any knowledge of using the STRMOD command to do pass through between 2 AS/400?? I understand with this command you can establish remote(dial up) communications without tieng up a devive like the STRPASTHR command. Any help would be greatly appreciated. EX. Line, Ctl, Device descriptions. I want to be able to call a client and then kick off a cl to have them call me back. Thanks in advance, Bryan Mangan

    Bryan, Are you running TCP/IP on both AS/400s? If yes, have you considered using Telnet to access the remote system? Mark
