We're trying to open a virtual terminal path with client and server at the same physical location, but the QTVOPNVT API bombs with escape MCH3602 "Pointer type not valid for requested operation" in a system program named QTVSINIT. What's wrong? But when we rerun the same application (with no code changes) under TRCJOB, the QTVOPNVT API works fine and the virtual terminal application works okay from start to finish. What's wrong?
