    Default Load 5250 emulation

I have loaded Client Access on our server but forgot to install 5250. When I try to reinstall Client Access I do not get the prompt to do a selective installation so that only 5250 can be additionally loaded. Is there a way to load only 5250 without having to unistall Client Access and reinstall ? Thanks Clyde Farro De Palm Holdings N.V. Aruba Dutch Caribbean

    Default Load 5250 emulation

I have uninstalled, and reinstalled CA so many times, that I do not think about it any longer. If I can not think of an immediate solution to a CA problem, I will uninstall, and reinstall. It's not pretty, but it's faster than waiting for IBM support to get back to me, and it usually works! Dave

In the Client Access Accessories folder there is a Selective Setup program. I believe that it will allow you to selectively install/uninstall components.

in the client access folder selective setup will let you install 5250 and any other options you must however reselect all options you currently have cause it re-installs options selected otherwise it will uninstall the items you have not selected
