Client Access on winnt

We have a p.c. that can get a connection to the As/400 from a Winnt machine using TCP/IP.....when the P.C. sits idle for a length of time...We loose our "green screen---5250 emulation session", it seems as though it's timing out??? Any one have an idea ? Len

Welly, I changed the Qintactitv value to 200 minutes and I still have p.c.'s that seem to disconnect from as400..are there any settings on the p.c. that the User could have set inadvertantly ??? Thanks Len

Have you tried setting QINACTITV to *NONE?

Try to change the value INACTTIMO in the CHGTELNA-command! good luck

Have you reviewed the joblog associated with the session that was terminated. That would be my starting point. Good luck! JC

Annette, the Qinactitv value was *none ! So I set it to 200 minutes and it works real well !!!! This particular problem seems to be only in one area...does not seem to be across the entire system...thats why I'm thinking there may be a setting on pc within client access(nt macine)..Thanks for your input , if you think of anything else I'm keeping my eye on this board !!LEN
