Remote writer Configuration

I have been attempting to print to a Xerox DC220ST as a remote writer, but various values I have used for the manufacturer type and model ( MFRTYPMDL ) parameter always bring the same result.....TCP342F ( Remote host system closed connection unexpectedly ). Does anyone have any ideas? Regards, gordon.

While trying to configure a new Docutech and came across an IBM technical document (#12454128) that lists the PORT settings for various printers. Xerox uses 2000, rather than the standard 9100 used by most other printers. That might work. Then again, I've been told by IBM that not all Xerox printers fully support PJL...

Dear Gordon, I was facing the exact same problem. The solution however is simple. When printing to port 515 (LPD) you need the know the name of a qeue (RMTPRTQ).
