Default Passing printer control characters to C/A printer???

I have a CBM-231 thermal receipt printer attached through Client Access (V3.1.3) which prints fine, but I cannot get autocutter & other special items to work since I can't seem to pass control characters to the printer. Using RPGIII, I have used BITON/BITOF to setup ASCII hex array to output to printer. I have preceded this stream with X'03' to tell the AS/400 that an ASCII stream is to follow. Nothing seems to work. Is it because the printer is emulated as a 3812?? I would appreciate any help on this!!

You must make sure that the printer file you are using is compiled as RPLUNPRT(*NO). Bill
