Default Infoprint Designer - Anyone Using This?

Bob - Designer will create AFP objects (overlays, form definitions, page definitions, page segments) that will work with an IPDS compatible printer (assuming that you have PSF/400). Additionally, under V5 you can also print to ASCII / PCL printers using Host Print Transform. Designer and Server are two tools to help you create electronic output. They work independently, but together they give you the ability to do all kinds of neat things. If you want to know more, drop me an email and I can send you more detailed information. Default Infoprint Designer - Anyone Using This?

We just upgraded to V5R2, and I also reviewed a web cast on the Infoprint Server and Infoprint Designer. Will the Designer only design forms for the Infoprinter or will it work for any connected AFP laser printer? TIA, Bob
