'Start' command in XP works for WORD documents but not for IMAGES 3 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
I am using the DOS START command in RUNRMTCMD to open documents stored on the AS/400 in MS WORD on the user's PC. This works fine. But if I try to use the Start command to remotely open an image (TIF or JPG), the image application opens but does not display the image. This is only a problem with XP PCs. On Windows 2000 the image viewer opens displaying the image. What is the problem with XP? <p>JoAnn
