I think this article is misleading on software pricing. IBM has placed the entire new 570 in the p30 price tier. How does IBM price i5/OS on this box. It is by number of processors. So the P30 price tier for software pricing is no longer followed by IBM itself. Many Independent software vendors are already not using the P group for pricing.
