Not sure what you're trying to say...My impression would lean toward the idea that this method isn't exactly looking for a job...but putting out a "me" blog says "Let the job come to me."

Hiring for specific detailed skill sets might be looking at what's out there. But again my thinking is, You want to find, meet in person, and press the flesh, with the hiring manager. Programmers don't blog, they should be writing, learning, and "selling it" in person. You can say anything in a blog. You can say anythying in person...But who are you going to believe...???

Could be way off target...Like "you" are the hiring manager or recruiter. Good luck!
