These days, it's hard to break off A/R, since most software packages tend to be integrated with all other financial functions.
A proper needs analysis study takes time, and will be unique for your own organization. The bottom line is that an off the cuff recommendation from someone who has used a package with good results may end up being inappropriate for your use.
Dave

I'm trying to find information and advice for good invoicing software. We are in the transport business and we are currently using Ininfium software for our financials. We are thinking Infinium but since transportation is different from other industries we would like input from others. Any comments would be appreciated to guide us in the right direction.
Thanks, Daniel

We are a manufacturing outfit who have always off-loaded our AR & GL data to a sister site for processing.
At one time, we were looking at finding solutions to bring those functions in-house & were most interested in a product by Great Plains Software.
One of the things that made them attractive was that they had an import/export tool that greatly eased the effort required to interface 2 systems.
It was a windows-based product, however.
Martin
