When I read this tip, I started to wonder if it could be used to compare QSYS files also. CMPPFM (PDM option 54) works ok for source files but it is pretty useless for data files. <BR>
My UNIX is very limited but I guess that diff must be combined with dd to convert the QSYS files to ASCII. There also seems to be a problem with end-of-file characters. Can anyone come up with an example? <p>Jørn
