My client uses a PC application to prepare a picture then prints to a postscript file which is kept on his pc. As and when required, this file is copied to his printer with a command similar to the following;
COPY 12345.prn \LPT2.
We would like to do this on the AS400 instead, as it will enable us to produce the prints based on events in the ERP system. If we copy the .prn files to the IFS, is it possible to route these postscript files to an IP attached laser printer using a similar method?
