This thread discusses the Content article: V6R1 DB2 for i5/OS Highlights

I was informed yesterday that the S/36 & S/38 environments would not be included with V6R1. I know this rumor has been running around for 15 years, but now it carries a bit of creedence.

Is there anyone who will definitively confirm or deny that this is true?

Since the "Heritage compilers" feature includes:
* Option 32 S/36 Compatible RPG II
* Option 33 S/38 Compatible RPG III
* Option 34 RPG/400®
* Option 42 S/36 Compatible COBOL
* Option 43 S/38 Compatible COBOL
* Option 44 OPM COBOL

I would assume that the S/36 & S/38 environments must still be available.
