Sam's right. You left out the response I would choose: "I use them all the time, but not directly." <p>I use one of the many subprocedures that I have written, bought or "borrowed" over the years. If I need to use an API that I don't already have a subprocedure written for, my first thought would be to write one first. Then I'll use the "wrapper" instead of the API.
