I have already configured a PPP profile, defined the line conn. type as Dial, Local and Remote IP addr. dynamically assigned.
My CL pgm excutes cmd STRTCPPTP. Everything goes fine, it authenticates and the profile is active. My problem is how to FTP using this connection. How does the AS/400 knows that it needs to use this "tunnel". Am I missing a route or something to that effect? Can anyone help with more details.
Thank you

After STRTCPPTP goes active, NESTAT option 2 shows the IP address. Just FTP to that IP address.
If STRTCPPTP always doles out the same IP address, you can use ADDTCPHTE one time to link the IP address to some memorable name that you like, then FTP to that memorable name.
