I found some information on this IBM Information site.

The above link is incorrect. Try IBM iSeries Support Then do a search on FTP SSL, then Information Center.

I'm looking for information on setting up / doing FTP on our AS400 using SSL. I will need to GET a file from a remote server, not sure what it is because it's another company.
Also what is port 990? Is this the port I must use for a secure transmission? I've read that you cannot do FTP SSL between two AS400's, but it's possible to a Windows or other environment which supports FTP SSL.
Links, tips, required license programs, certificates or any other help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dave
