Try using the SENDPA FTP command after logging in. This will change your FTP session to an active one.
BRyan

I am having a problem with an AS400 to AS400 ftp transfer over the internet. I connect and log on OK, change to ascii, change namefmt 1, then attempt a "put" and that is where it hangs. When I run wrkactjob it shows my ftp job in a TIMW state and it stays there indefinitely until I manually end the job. See below for the script commands and log output.
Any suggestions?
