New optional features are available for selected PureFlex System and BladeCenter offerings:


For the IBM® BladeCenter PS700 Express® (8406-70Y), these features are available:

    • USB 500 GB Removable Disk Drive (#1107)
    • 1 TB Removable Disk Drive Cartridge (#EU01)
    • RDX 320 GB Removable Disk Drive (#EU08)


For the IBM Flex System™ Enterprise Chassis (7893-92X), these features are available:

    • 3 m (9.8 ft), IBM Passive 10 GbE SFP+ Copper DAC Cable (#ECB5)
    • 5 m (16.4 ft), IBM Passive DAC SFP+ Switch Cable (#ECB6)


For the IBM Flex System p260 Compute Node (7895-23X), this feature is available:

    • Active Memory Expansion Enablement (#4796)


IBM PureFlex System is a new category of computing that integrates multiple server architectures, networking, storage, and system management capability into a single system.
