Next generation applications are modular, distributed, virtualized and increasingly running in the cloud.

In fact, multi-cloud deployments and sophisticated software-defined data centers will soon be commonplace; but will you legacy ADC architecture help you make this transition or hinder it?

Having a software application delivery controller (ADC) and an automated application provisioning solution that is cloud-aware is becoming increasingly important. These solutions need to be simple, automated and cloud-ready to seamlessly fit into these new environments. Next-generation ADCs need to be as dynamic as the applications they support, applying application-specific optimization and policies as well as deliver advanced layer 7 features and services.

Join Kavitha Mariappan, Director of Product Marketing at Riverbed Technology, and Bob Laliberte, Senior Analyst at Enterprise Strategy Group, as they discuss the challenges and benefits of software-defined cloud delivery. You’ll learn how to:

  • Provide more scalable, dynamic application support by virtualizing the application  delivery infrastructure
  • Determine if an ADC  is cloud-aware and where it has been natively designed for virtualized environments
  • Increase application performance and portability across cloud services
  • Accelerate time to market and reduce costs by leveraging repeatable and portable deployments on any cloud
