IBM Operational Decision Manager Pattern V8.0 enables scaling of business rule management projects.

IBM and Red Hat have announced that Casio Computer has selected a combination of Red Hat Virtualization software and IBM systems to handle business management challenges and prepare its IT infrastructure for cloud deployments. Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization and IBM BladeCenter are helping to reduce costs, decrease procurement time and prepare for the cloud.

Company ships Zing 5.0, the Industry’s only JVM that is specifically architected and optimized for Linux.

Company extends its relationship with Amazon Web Services to run SAP in the cloud. 

The consortium complements the existing open source communities managing the development of the KVM hypervisor and associated management capabilities, which are rapidly driving technology innovations for customers virtualizing both Linux and Windows applications.

Red Hat, Inc. noted its leadership in open source desktop development with its ranking as the top corporate contributor to the GNOME project. In a census study published by Neary Consulting at GUADEC recently in The Hague, Netherlands, Red Hat placed first among the total 106 companies that have contributed to GNOME development over the past 10 years with nearly 17 percent of the total code commits. The study also showed that nine out of the top 20 contributors are Red Hat employees.
