SkyView Partners today announced a Security Administrators Guide for the IBM i platform. The new e-book based on the experience of Carol Woodbury and her work with clients during the last 12 years at SkyView Partners Inc., defines the role of security administrator including the values for key security settings, why they should be set as such and how often they should be checked.

 

"Given the spotlight on security recently whether it's the $45 million ATM heist or the case of Eric Snowden and the NSA, both of which can be traced to a root cause of "too much access to data", it's clear that security needs to become a discipline and not just another item on the System Admins' list of things to do," explains Carol Woodbury, President of SkyView Partners Inc.
