File Edit Utility (FEU) now features data emailing and zipping functions.
Applied Logic Corp., developer of AS/400 and Power Systems programmer productivity software, has announced the August 2009 release of V17 of its powerful database tool, File Edit Utility (FEU).
First introduced to the AS/400 market in 1988, FEU has been continually upgraded to better serve the thousands of users in more than 100 countries worldwide.
In addition to the cumulative capabilities of all previous releases, new features of FEU V17 include:
- Email spool files in PDF/HTML/TXT/XML format
- Zip a library or file
- Work with record lengths up to 32,766 bytes
- Convert a save file to PF and restore it back
- Print alpha order record layout reports
- Cumulative product PTF’s and updates
- V6R1 and i 6.1 Compatibility
- New printed and electronic user manual, and more.
FEU V17 is available as a free no-obligation demo that will soon be available for download at www.alcsoftware.com/feu or by calling 1-800-588-8695. Licensing is $995 for a regular license or $1895 for an LPAR license. Upgrades are available for existing users of FEU and for users of DFU or other database tools. FEU V17 supports V6R1 and other recent OS releases.
