IBM Mobile Enterprise Services for managed mobility will help to provide managed mobility services on behalf of your business. IBM Mobile Enterprise Services for managed mobility addresses the enterprise need for a managed service that delivers mobile services to a variety of mobile platforms, including RIM BlackBerry smartphones and tablets (for example, PlayBook), Apple iOS smartphones and tablets (for example, iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad), and Google Android smartphones and tablets. Specific capabilities include mobile device management (MDM), BlackBerry Enterprise Server, secure mobile messaging middleware (for example, Good for Enterprise), and level 2 and 3 end-user and administrative support. Supported messaging platforms include Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange. Both corporate-liable and employee-liable devices are supported, and employees are able to leverage a self-service portal to connect their devices and manage them without administrative intervention.
