Coglin Mill RODIN Now Available Worldwide with IBM i Solution Edition

The new IBM i Solution Edition is designed to make it easier and less expensive for customers to acquire and deploy the data warehouse management software on Power System i.

Coglin Mill is pleased to announce the new IBM i Solution Edition for Coglin Mill to develop and manage sophisticated data warehousing environments on the IBM i operating system. Coglin Mill’s flagship product RODIN is a full function data warehouse solution that runs natively on the IBM i platform and is the only one of its kind on the market, according to the company. RODIN makes it easy to deploy complex extract, transform and load (ETL), including change data capture, complex business rules, data quality management, metadata and more.

The IBM i Solution Edition for Coglin Mill combines the highly available IBM i operating system and IBM POWER7 processor-based Power Systems servers with RODIN to help reduce the cost, complexity, and risk of deploying an ETL solution. IBM i Solution Editions are designed to help businesses take advantage of the combined experience and expertise of IBM and independent software vendors (ISVs) in building business value with IT investments. Coupled with the total integration delivered by IBM i and the Solution Edition system discount, this solution offering delivers the performance today’s businesses need along with low cost of ownership, the company says.
