  • IP range LAN printer problems

I am need of some help. We have several thousand LAN printer devices (IPDS and 3812). A couple of days ago for no apparent reason, all LAN print devices have stopped working for a particular IP octet range. The thousands of other print devices are working but for one particular IP octet range the writers will end when a spool file attempts to transmit to the printer. Supposedly no network changes have occurred. No printer changes at all. These are Lexmark Optra S printers. Mainframe and network printing from PCs is working with no problems, it is only the AS/400 print jobs. The job logs for these printers doesn't provide any help to IBM for troubleshooting. I created a remote outq and it will not send the spool file either. Has anyone seen this before or have any idea what to check? Thank you, Scott
