  • Landscape to Portrait

One way to accomplish is to copy the spool file to a pf (using CPYSPLF and be sure to specify CTLCHAR(*FCFC) ). Next, issue an OVRPRTF on the desired spool file (QPRINT or whatever)with the needed attributes - be sure to include CTLCHAR(*FCFC). Finally, simply do a CPYF from the pf to the print file. HTH, Joe

    Landscape to Portrait

From a canned package a User of mine is printng invoices. Some of the invoices are not mailed to the customer, but kept inhouse. We would like save forms and print these on a laser printer. THE PROBLEM IS: it automatically changes the printout to Landscape. The form width is 132. I looked at the command CHGSPLFA and found everything but Forms Width. We only need to print to width 85 and it is a canned package. Any way to change this when it is already spooled. Thanks

I have used *FCFC before to save spooled files to disk. I'll give it a shot. Thanks again
