I was not able to get it to work when I tried it a couple of years ago using embedded ASCII or a *WSCST. But I may have given up too early. There were issues with whether I could have PCL following PJL. You might be able to do it with a custom Host Print Transform program.

I like to find out if possible to issue PJL commands from my AS/400 to a Multi Function Printer.

PJL Commands

You might want to check into the SYSDRVPGM parameter on the CRTDEVPRT command. Try using *IBMPJLDRV or *HPPJLDRV. What are you trying to accomplish? What PJL commands do you want to send to the printer?
