We have been using HPs as workgroup printers for many years. We are using the 4100 and 4050 series. I believe both these lines have been replaced by 4200 series. They are easy to configure, reliable and user friendly. I am not sure of the prices. Pat

I need some help. We are in the process of replacing a dot matrix printer with a workgroup laser printer. We are looking at some HPs, IBM and Xeros. Can you guys recommend a good laser printer? We are running on v5r1. We are also not looking to spend more than 700 dollars. Any ideas? Any info would be greatly appreciated.Comment

The street price for an HP4250n, which is our current model of choice, is about $1,100. I don't know the actual corporate price we pay, but it is usually $2-300 less. We have used HP 4000 series for several years and have been very pleased.Comment
