Joe, Simply put... probably not. I moved a model 150 and 170 over 50 miles (on the back sear) and I had no problems with the IPL. I would reccommend packing it if you are going to haul it by truck. Hope this helps.

Moving a small AS/400
I have the opportunity to purchase a small (the physical size of a pc server) 400. I would need to transport it home (about 150 miles). Are there any special commands that would need to be run before moving? Do disk drives still have to be "parked"? Thanks, Joe -
