Migrate Tapes Between AS/36 and AS/400

We have a client that won't purchase a new iSeries and is asking for program modifications. We are hesitant to do them on his AS/36 because of the physical environment and the knowledge of the iSeries. We'd like to move the libs over to a 400 (we've done this), make and test changes, and bring them back via tape to the AS/36. We have access to both a model 200 and a 270. Migrate Tapes Between AS/36 and AS/400

Cletus, If you load the AS/36 tapes onto the AS/400 in S36 mode, and perform all modifications in S36 mode, you should be fine. Just save the library while in S36 mode and the AS/36 should be able to load the changes from the S36 mode created tape. Doug
