Excellent opportunity to join a well established, Fortune 100 company in Tampa, Florida. Will assist in the development and maintenance on this operations Data Warehouse using Showcase/Essbase. Will work directly with users and management to support the development. Will be doing tool usage, user/query reporting and the implementation of an EIS. Will also develop and maintain databases and database documentation for Data Warehouse. Perform all aspects of requirements gathering project management, hands-on implementation and productions support. Will also need to be able to code in RPG4 as needed. Requires: BSCS or equivalent degree. 3 years experience in a database and/or Data Warehousing systems in financial, banking, insurance or marketing areas. Knowledge of logical data modeling and physical database design. At least 3 years in working with large database systems and 2 years with SQL (to script and load data to WH) and reporting tools. 2 years experience with Showcase/Essbase data warehousing software - really want Warehouse Builder and Query and Report Writer tools within it. Strong PC experience as well as full life cycle development, strong end user interface. Will also develop some light RPG4 applications to pull data from existing applications into Data Warehouse. Must have excellent communication skills at all levels. Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the USA - no sponsorship. Following are a major plus - OLAP tools, datamining, ERwin data modeling, CRM methods and techniques, DB2400, Visual Basic development, ODBC data access methods.
