Columbus, OH Salary 65 – 95 Our Columbus area client is seeking certified (preferably) project managers to work with IT technical staff, store operations staff, corporate support functions and hardware and software vendors. The successful candidate will have experience creating detailed project plans, track/coordinate project tasks/resources/costs and provide management reports for the implementation and support of store systems. MUST have significant retail, in-store systems project management experience in a major big-box (greater than 20 cash registers) retail chain of more than 500 stores. This individual will be responsible for timely production of projects as well as budgeting Looking for a “hands-on” Leader, with a blend of strong design, technical, project management, leadership and communications skills. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related technology field Project management certification highly desired. Masters in Business Administration desired. A minimum of five (5) years of store systems, project management experience required. A minimum of five (5) years employment with a major retailer having > 300 stores with >20 registers/store. A minimum of five (5) years experience with Microsoft Project. Experience with creating project plans and managing projects in a large corporate environment. Knowledge and direct experience with state-of-the-art in-store systems – hardware, software, communications. Experience working with Windows platforms Experience working with packaged POS and in-store software. Experience working under Project Management Office governance.
