Are you a results oriented IT Operations Manager looking for a challenge? Desire to work for a growing technology company? Our client is looking for an experienced Technology Manager to manage a 24/7/365 operation in the Greater Detroit area. This position will report to the CIO. The candidate will have grown from a hands-on technical individual to a manager through their career. The current technology environment includes the following: AS400's, NT/Windows 2000 Servers running complex applications, NT/W2K Servers in file-sharing, mail, and printing applications, Avaya, Aspect telephone systems, complex IVR applications. Sun Unix Machines, 400-500 workstation environments, including break/fix, Cisco, Checkpoint. Experience overseeing team supporting these technologies is required and knowledge to be conversant in these technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven technical manager as this company is expecting to triple in revenue over the next 36 months. Requirements:[*] LOCAL Candidates ONLY! (Greater Detroit area)[*] BS CS or related degree required.[*] 10 years of experience managing complex systems from an operational perspective.[*] Knowledge of AS400 systems is required.[*] MUST have experience managing a 24/7/365 operation.[*] MUST have experience working for a Service company (Application Service Provider, Web hosting, B2B e-Commerce, etc.)[*] Strong and proven systems leadership - staff and operational needed.[*] Experience in vendor management required.[*] Experience in disaster recovery and data/network security is required.[*] Strong customer service skills required.[*] Strong communication skills, ability to bring new ideas to the table from a systems perspective is required.[*] Experience dealing with system/technology issues resulting from company acquisitions strongly preferred.
